Abstract	Recent technological advancement in media and transportation systems has opened up both opportunities and challenges never seen, thus speeding up the process of globalization. The Bahá'í teachings envision a society in which all nations of the world live in unity and harmony. This article is a qualitative research based mainly on a documentary and bibliographic review of the influence of said technologies on these social processes, correlating it with the vision projected by the Bahá'í teachings. It concludes by identifying connections between scientific advancement and how it seems to be drawing humanity closer to such a future world order.
