Abstract "The research discusses the seed from which the Babi sect emerged, why the Shaykhis are considered the mother who embraced the birth of the Bábís,and the reason for the dissent of the Shaykhís from the ranks of the Twelver Shiites. In addition, the research shows the origin of the belief is the dispute about the return of the expected Imam, whether the return is in body and spirit or in spirit. This paved the way for the emergence of the call of the Báb, who claimed that he was a portal to the imam, and then claimed that he was the Mahdi, came with new doctrines, and called for the abrogation of Islamic Sharia under the claim of renewal. The claim was rejected by the Sunni and Shiite groups. Moreover, the research discusses the Bábí religion and emergence and evolution to a larger faith (the Baha'i faith), which claimed God's immanence (God forbid) and called for a new sharia (the Baha'i religion)."
