Abstract	This issue entitled Estudios sociales bahá'ís intends to accomplish two objectives. The first and simplest analyzes several contemporary problems, from an innovative viewpoint, taking the perspective scienc and one of the great contemporary religious traditions that has grown rapidly in the past century: the Bahá'í Faith. The second more complex objective represents an attempt to apply the conceptual framework that guides Bahá'í community efforts to contribute to social research and social change.
