| Abstract | With 18 years of experience, FoNaHA continues to learn about Baha'i-inspired community schools. In addition to an education that is both material, human and spiritual; it is also development: "development of the capacities of a given population to take charge of itself". This is the hypothesis raised by the problem of the types of education and development. For educational design and practice, the three types of education mentioned above are promoted within community schools, with priority given to character formation and conduct before science and the arts. For the design and practice of development, the latter seeks to achieve "a dynamic coherence between the material and spiritual requirements of life", in addition to the fact that "any development to be sustainable and sustainable must be organic." Currently 47 schools have been created in the country with related programs to strengthen them in: agriculture, health, environment and housing. Finally, 47 resource persons from 14 organizations from 9 French-speaking countries have been trained. |
