Abstract	This article aims to discuss how the concept of peace evolved throughout history and, subsequently, examine how this concept dialogues with the perspective provided by the Bahá'í Faith according to its authoritative and expert texts. This exploratory analysis was conducted with the aim to answer the following question: what are the interfaces between the discussion on peace developed by peace studies and the conceptual framework provided lso about peace for the Bahá'í Faith? Research shows that there are intersections in both the concepts of peace and violence. In addition, the Bahá'í Faith makes an additional contribution to peace studies, which is a unique discussion of human nature and the principle of the unity of humanity.
