| Abstract | Mirza Yuhanna Dawud (also known as Yohanan Ben David; 1884-1969) was a Persian Jew who immigrated to England and embraced the Baha’i Faith in his twenties. He was also a Jewish believer, a Zionist sympathizer, and a British citizen. In this article I examine Mirza Yuhanna Dawud’s life journey across geographical, religious, and spiritual paths through primary sources, including personal letters and diaries, in the framework of religious pluralism and fluid identity theories. In addition, I supply a preliminary survey of some of his works kept in his archive at the National Library of Israel. |
