abstract noteThis article examines the Bahá’í conception of human nature and its impact on psychotherapeutic practice and Positive and Transcultural Psychotherapy (PPT after Nossrat Peseschkian). Central concepts, such as oneness of humankind, human resources and harmony between science and religion, are highlighted as the cornerstones of this young world religion and their implementation in practice is presented. The authors show that Bahá’í teachings enrich therapy by pointing to the inherent abilities of each person, activated through education and self-development. This promotes a resource-oriented, holistic therapeutic approach that goes beyond the treatment of psychological disorders and increases individual well-being. The article also emphasizes the importance of cultural sensitivity in therapy, supported by the Bahá’í principle of unity in diversity in an increasingly global society. Finally, the integration of spiritual and religious topics with scientific practice is presented as the key to effective and comprehensive healing processes that take both material and spiritual aspects of life into account.
