| abstract note | A collective reflection of a family processing the recent loss of a loved one who became a Baha’i in February 2022, two months before passing. It demonstrates the significance of archiving our spiritual journey as a reflective process that can heal, deepen our knowledge, further develop our spirituality, reclaim the power that is embedded in family unity, and affirm our human oneness. We found solace and guidance in following the covenant of the Baha’i Faith and focusing on the Institute process, deepening, purifying, and teaching efforts. As a family, we completed Ruhi Books 2 and 11 and developed this manuscript to share with people all around the world. Just like “one word has a spirit” so does one life. The title of the book comes from a new Baha’i, my daughter-in-law, and caregiver of George Carl Willett who was physically challenged, as a quadriplegic from Spinal Cord Injury in 1969. The quotes are primarily from the Baha’i Faith, with some quotes that reflect joy, forgiveness, and reflections that give open the book to others besides Baha'is. These additional selection came from my grand-daughter who studied the Faith with us as a youth at the age of 17. The primary author is spouse and now widow, Tina Willett. The message is to share with others, despite George’s physical disabilities, how his life had the power to illuminate and enrich the lives of others through the spirit and the Word of God. If everyone could retrace the past with a new awareness of our spirituality, we would open the doors for others to heal, find peace, and hope in the future as George’s life continues to guide his family. |
