abstract noteThe current equalization of rights between men and women remains challenging amid Indonesia's patriarchal culture. Efforts for equal rights can be achieved through both formal and non-formal education. The Baha'i religion upholds the principle of equal rights between men and women, revealed by Baha'u'llah to his followers. The Baha'i community applies these teachings in their daily activities and forms study groups to understand and learn these teachings. Therefore, this research aims to determine the kind ofteachings and study groups implemented by the Baha'i community. The research employs qualitative methods with an ethnographic approach and data collection through in-depth interviews. The study was conducted on Setia Budi Street, Medan, which serves as a gathering place or place of worship for the Baha'i community in Medan. The Baha'i religion has three teachings supporting equal rights: teachings to equalize rights between men and women, teachings to mandate education for all people, and teachings to advance women. The implementation of these teachings occurs in daily activities and through the formation of study groups, namely children's study classes, youth discussion groups, and adult discussion group.
