DEAR FRIENDS,

In order to assist the progress of clusters, the Bahá’í Council for England has put together a document that explains the role of (cluster) reflection meetings, together with suggestions for a programme for these meetings. The document is entitled “The Nature and Purpose of Reflection Meetings” and can be found on the Council’s website at www.bahai.org.uk/england on the webpage “Council Communications”.

Free copies can also be requested from the Council Office, whose contact details can be found below. We hope this document is of use to you.

Applications invited for the post of Administrative Aide to the Council
You may have already seen the Bahá’í Council for England’s advert inviting suitable candidates who wish to serve the Faith to apply for the post of Administrative Aide to the Council, commencing July 2003.

The INFUSE – Youth Empowerment Project is proud to announce... “Dare 2 B Different”

A SPECIALIST residential youth event to develop your leadership skills. (Limited Spaces)

So what’s it all about?
Do you feel in control of your life?
Or do you feel too influenced by your friends, TV and others?

This youth event explores how you can further develop your leadership skills in both your personal and spiritual life.

What’s in it for me?
The event will focus on five primary development areas:

• Planning and Vision Building
• Consultation and Problem Solving
• Independence Skills
• Team Work
• Empathy Leadership Skills

What will I be doing?
The event is divided into two main parts:
The first part will be an intensive two-day team building and development programme.
The second part is a day of planning and vision building, followed by a three-day, physically and mentally active, outdoor service project. The service project is a major part of the event, which will support the participants to “talk the talk and walk the walk” and concludes on the last day with a dedication ceremony!

The Next Step ...
This event is for 13-18+ year olds and will be held at Burnlaw Centre, Northumbria from 10th to 16th August, 2003. This event is a specialist residential youth event and there are extremely limited spaces.
The cost, which includes, food, activities and materials is either: £80 for shared indoor accommodation (limited spaces), or £55 for camping (you are required to bring your own tent & equipment).

Deadline for bookings: July 26, 2003

All bookings will be confirmed in writing, which will include further information, including directions to the venue.
