The Brussels office of the BIC provided a synopsis of the year past.
Europe and the world are grappling with unprecedented challenges, and the Baha’i International Community believes that these can only be effectively addressed through the recognition of humanity's inherent oneness. Throughout the year, we actively participated in discussions to explore how this notion of oneness can be given expression in discussions around critical topics, such as social cohesion in Europe's diverse communities, overcoming racism and prejudice, the European Union's relationship with the rest of the world, food systems and agriculture, freedom of religion or belief, and addressing the human rights situation of Baha’is in Iran, Yemen and Qatar.
