197-		 The formation of the first Spiritual Assembly of the Bahá'ís of Brandon, MB. The inaugural members were: Mansur Dirakhshan, Habib Yaganegi, Laurie Duncalf, John Dunn, Jamshid Aidun, Gol Aidun, Margaret Guy, Rita Gunnlaugson, and William Guy.

The Spiritual Assembly was incorporated in February of 1971. The members at that time were: Doreen Hurl, Roy Hurl, William Guy Margaret Guy, Mansur Derakshan, Gol Aidun, Janshid Aidun, Jessie Brown and John Dunn II.
