Dear Matt: I read your opinions quietly and they seem fair to me. The question was: should we talk to covenant breaker (ortodox baha'is). I say: why not ? Dear friends: Since this "tread" was lauched on a question (by Darrick) on the subject if we are aloud to speak to convenant breakers or to ortodox bahai's, it seems we drifted a bit from the basic question. . Oh yes, it was a definitive element that triggered my interest (curiosity) and to seek further. The elucidations of Abdul Baha in chap 9, 10, 11 of the Mufadivat (Answers to Questions) may also be a sort of catalist to open many eyes. Absolutely, it is authentic. No sane person would dare to say the contrary. But the Bab says it is obsolete, in the Bayan. And I agree with the Bab. Read the Bayan to be convinced. Even if it is authentic, the Qur'an still taste like vinegar to me. A waste of time for now. It is obsolete. MJ.
