The proximity of the Revelations of the Bab and Baha'u'llah was prophecied in the Bible. `Abdu'l-Baha explains in Some Answered questions, page 56 that the "Second Woe" promised in the Revelation of John was the Bab, and the Third Woe was Baha'u'llah. The short duration between them was promised in...

Exactly, the reason this is interesting is because 19 is an important number in the Baha'i Faith, and 19 is fortold in the Qur'an.

No, most christians I know, including Baptists, Evangelicals, Catholics, and that Speaking-in-tongues crowd, all believe in 'salvation", though some might believe heaven has "levels" as well, clouding the issue. Baptists, Evangelists and the like are protestant. I'm not really from a christian back...

Why were Baha'u'llah and The Bab so close together?

I've been trying to figure out why Baha'u'llah was actually OLDER then the previous Manifestation, The Bab. I came up with two possible reasons.

* some massive shift in how society works in the years from 1844 to 1863.
*The Bab's mission was unfinished.

Someone please help!

What Christ probably said was something the way of "I am a Manifestation Of God" and people took it the wrong way. Later the meaning got lost in this "Son" sutff.
