Dear Friends, in p.78 of A Traveler’s Narrative, the word 'Zawra' is explained in the note as 'Baghdád', while in para.274-5 of Kitab-i-Iqan, Baha'u'llah and Sadiq stated that Zawra is the land of Rayy, that is Tiheran. How to understand this difference? Thanks.

Hello Huang,

I don't know, but if I were to offer a guess, it would seem to me that 'Abdu'l-Baha's words and the Traveler's Narrative note are just using about the traditional understanding of the word, whereas in the Iqan, Baha'u'llah is perhaps offering a true meaning---I personally have no idea, but that seems possible from my reading...

Best wishes,
