Difference between Lawh and Surih

Postby HuangRan » Fri Aug 16, 2013 9:30 am

Dear friends,

Some of the Writings of Baha'u'llah are named as "Lawh-i-....", while some are named as "Suriy-i-...", are they of two types of revelation? What's the difference between them?

Why "Lawh"-i-Ayyúb is also called "Súriy"-i-Sabr? and Súriy-i-Ra'ís I and Lawh-i Ra'is? And both are translated as "Tablet" in English?

Thanks

The impression I've gotten over the years is, "If you have to ask, you'll never really understand." LOL

Understood properly, all man's problems are essentially spiritual in nature.
