The Bahai and the Shiah use the same Quran as the Sunni. Although it is said that Ali collected his own Quran in the months following Muhammad's death, so did many people: each made his own collection of what was available, or they memorised whatever they could hear from others. This was the first process of the collection of Quranic materials. Later all these collections were taken into consideration as a comprehensive collection was made, first under Abu Bakr and then again under Uthman. The approved comprehensive text of Uthman is pretty much the same as what we have today, (the most common text today is the one authorised by the King of Egypt around 1920). This is used by Shiah, Sunni and Bahais.

These are not Surahs in the Quran that the Shiites actually use.

In the polemics between Shi'ites and Sunnis, there were claims that the Shi'ah had these extra Surahs (proving that the Shiah were superior), or that the Shi'ah had added texts and called them surahs (proving that the Shiah were corrupt), but the Surahs never existed.

if you go to a Shiah mosque and look at the Quran, or go to a Shiah tafsir (verse-by-verse explanation of the quran), you will see they do not exist. That is why the Shiah can use a Sunni tafsir book like al-Jalalayn, and the Sunni can use a Shiah tafsir like Tabataba'i : the Quranic text they are talking about is the same. They disagree on the meaning of some verses, but not about the text

(Do we have any native french speakers who would be able to translate this for the other user? It would be most useful if someone would be kind enough to do so)
