Can anyone digitize cassettes?

Postby Jonah-admin » Tue Oct 22, 2013 5:39 pm

I have an offer of professionally-produced talks on cassette tape (see list below). If anyone knows anyone who can convert them, let me know. Thanks! -Jonah

Here are the tapes I have right now that I did not find on line anywhere else:
· Counsellor Farzam Arbab, "The Campaign of Unified Action" DTC briefing Sept. 1984
· Auxiliary Board Member Anthony Lease, "'Abdu'l-Bahá on Teaching" (1980s?)
· Dr. Fereshteh Bethel, "A psychological Theory of Martyrdom," Green Acre Regional ABS Conf. 1984
· Musical Selections from the Wildfire Arts Conference, 1983
· Dr. Bahia Mitchell, "This Century of Progress," 1986
· Greg Dahl, "Dare to Be Different," & Phil Christensen, "Bahá'í Morality" BPT
· Geoffry W. & Amy Seidel Marks, "Forging an Eternal Bond: Building and Maintaining the Institution of Marriage", 1980
· Dwight Allen, "Education, Where Do We Go From Here?" 1970
· Daniel Jordan, "The role of Education in the New Dispensation" 1970
· Daniel Jordan, "Deepening and Consolidation"

In addition, I have some sets produced by Images International from talks given at various conferences in the 1980s, 16 altogether. Couldn't find them anywhere, either, but I'm not so clever at using search engines. Images website is no longer working....
· Dr. Allen Ward, "The Master Teacher - 'Abdu'l-Bahá" First Massanetta Springs Bahá'í Conference
· Dr. Peter Kahn, "Pioneering and Leaving the Cities" Second Massanetta Springs Bahá'í Conf.
· ibid, "Spiritual Survival in the Global Chaos" / Wilma Brady, "Transforming Crude Metal into Gold"
· Wilma Brady, "Facing the Tests Ahead" / Greg Dahl, "Pioneering" First Massanetta Springs Bahá'í Conf.
· Dr. Dwight Allen, "Doors to Teaching" / "Doors to Deepening"
· Dr. Larry McCullough, "The Covenant: Your Part of the Deal" Second Massanetta Springs Bahá'í Conf.
· Dr. Dwight Allen, "Doors to Teaching" (another version)
· Nat Rutstein, "Service Through Work" Third Massanetta Springs Bahá'í Conf.
· ibid, "Using Our Faith in Dealing with the World"
· Hand of the Cause Zikrullah Khadem, Green Lake Bahá'í Conf 1981
· Continental Board of Counsellors Member Angus Cowan, Green Lake 1981
· Bob Harris, "Battling Materialism: the sparkling, the glittering, and the real" Second Massanetta Springs Bahá'í Conf.

Most of the speakers are long gone, but what they have to say is still good, and entertaining. Pity the medium doesn't last as well as print.

I'm told it's pretty easy.

There's a guy here in GF that also does LP's, (for a substantial fee!)

Understood properly, all man's problems are essentially spiritual in nature.

Easy, yes. If you have a cassette deck and some free time. :-)
