title | Du’a’-i-Manuchihr Khan |
opening, original |
opening, English |
O my God! Thy bounty hath ever been equal to my poverty, and Thy forgiveness hath ever been equal to mine iniquity. Thou knowest, O my God... O my God! Thou art the Truth and hast ever been, and all else beside Thee is needy and poor. And here am I, O my God, detached from all mankind through my clinging to Thy cord [3.5s]... …Throughout eternity Thou hast been, O my Lord, and wilt ever remain the One true God, while all else save Thee |
