At the beginning of the book Khanum writes "This book is dedicated with tender affection to the youth, who deserve to know what Shoghi Effendi was like, and what he has given us for future generations." The printed version includes pictures of Shoghi Effendi climbing mountains and riding bicycles in the Alps which are not in the 1969 print of the The Priceless Pearl. The illustrations are not included here. They can be found at bahai.media.
