About: The impact of the Word of God has dominated the history of religion and our definition of the evolving maturation of humankind. But in an age in which the power of words has been systematically eroded and the orthodoxy of language has been questioned, it may be that our awareness of God’s silence is essential in shaping our individual choices and defining our collective histories. This essay explores some of the ways that Divine silence is inferred in the Writings of Bahá’u’lláh and offers a meditation on how it plays a vital role in helping us understand His words.
