The Baha'i Business Forum of the Americas (BBFA) warmly invites you to the first BBFA Conference, entitled "Bringing Spiritual Principles and Values to Business". The conference will be held June 7-9, 2002 at the Hyatt Regency, Reston, Virginia, USA. University students are encouraged to attend.

Conference Vision

* To explore and promote the role of business as an agent of service by developing knowledge, insight and skills gained through the Baha'i Writings and personal experience.

Conference Objectives

* Explore and discuss Baha'i principles as they relate to business
* Define and share practical experiences and skills that current and future business leaders can apply in their organizations
* Provide opportunities for dialogue amongst those who are interested in applying Baha'i principles to their work

Planned sessions and workshops include: The Role of Business as an Agent of Service, The Impact of Baha'u'llah's Revelation on Business and Commerce, Competition and Cooperation, Business Ethics, Servant Leadership, A Spiritual Perspective on Economics, Consultation, Conflict Resolution, and Negotiation in Business, a special workshop for students of business and economics and opportunities for mentorship and networking.
