- Barbara Senn Hilty Ehrsam, by Duane L. Herrmann (1997). Ehrsam (1848-1924) was a religious seeker who was instrumental in the establishment of the first Bahá'í group in Kansas, USA.

- Gertrude Bell Archive, excerpts, by Gertrude Bell (1902-1924). A British writer and archeologist, Bell traveled throughout the Middle East from 1899-1926. During this time she made several trips to Haifa and Akka, meeting Abdu'l-Bahá, and entering the Shrine of Bahá'u'lláh. She also took a number of photos of Akka.
- Imbrie Murder Laid to Religious Hate, by Author unknown (1924-07-24). Two brief articles describing the 1924 murder of an American diplomat by a Muslim mob who thought he was a Bahá'í.
- In Memoriam: Hugh McKinley, by Ismael Velasco (2007). McKinley (1924-1999) was a British Bahá'í pioneer to Cyprus during the Ten Year Crusade (1953-1963).
- In Memoriam: Hushmand Fatheazam (1924-2013), by Shahbaz Fatheazam (2014). Born into a prominent Iranian Bahá'í family, he pioneered to India where he was later elected to the National Spiritual Assembly, serving as its secretary until 1963, when he was elected to the Universal House of Justice, serving on that body until 2003.
- Interview with Ruhollah Geula regarding Robert Imbrie, by Anthony Lee (1997-09). Interview by Lee, the general editor of Kalimat Press, with his father-in-law, an eyewitness to these 1924 events in Tehran.
- Literary History of Persia, Volume 4: Modern Times (1500-1924), by E. G. Browne (1928/1959). Volume 4 contains the first extensive catalogue of Bábí and Bahá'í literature published in English. To this day, the four-volume set is an essential text for students of Iranian literature.
- Murder in Tehran, by Henry S. Villard (1982-06). In 1924 Vice Consul Robert W. Imbrie was killed by an angry mob spurred on by religious fanatics after he tried to photograph a fountain that was believed to be sacred, a foreshadowing of the 1979 embassy seizure.
