Eighty leaders of thought from around the world gathered at Landegg Academy for the first International Dialogue on the Transition to a Global Society. The event was co-sponsored by the University of Maryland, the Vienna Academy for the Study of the Future and the Landegg Academy. [VV109]

- 1992-02-03 — The Association of Bahá'í Publishers and Distributors was established at a Bahá'í Publishers' Conference in Oakham, England, with its headquarters in the Netherlands. [BINS273:4-5; VV71]
- 2000-12-17 — The first International Conference on Modern Religions and Religious Movements in Judaism Christianity and Islam and the Bábí-Bahá'í Faiths was held in Jerusalem with about 90 persons in attendance. [BWNS84]
