- 2023-06-05 — The Bahá’í International Community (BIC) in Geneva launched a new website and Instagram page as a hub for collecting diverse contributions to the “Our Story Is One” campaign, which marked 40 years since 10 Bahá’í women were hanged in Shiraz, Iran.
In addition they released a statement explaining the campaign and the reasons for it. The announced that a new section of the Archives of Baha’i Persecution in Iran website has also been created to collect all available documents about the 10 women, including, to show just some examples, letters to their families, including some written from inside prison, personal photos, prison documents and other archival materials. - 2023-06-16 — The National Congress in Brasília, Brazil held a public hearing to address human rights violations against the Bahá’ís of Iran.
Those present observed a moment of silence to remember the 10 Bahá’í women who were hanged in Shiraz, Iran, 40 years ago by the Islamic Republic of Iran while holding images of the women.
This session was the second in a series of public hearings exploring the issue of social justice and transformation of culture with a cross-section of Brazilian society, organized by Brazil’s Bahá’í Office of External Affairs and government officials. The previous session in this series held at the National Congress was on the role of religion in promoting a shared identity among the diverse populations of the country through recognition of humanity’s spiritual nature. The event is part of the broader #OurStoryIsOne campaign which shed light on the continuing sacrifices made by Iranian women of every background in their pursuit of justice and gender equality. - 2024-06-18 — This day marked the end of the year-long campaign (#OurStoryIsOne) launched by the International Bahá'í Community to honour the lives of the 10 Bahá'í women who were hanged for their beliefs in Shiraz in 1983.
