Hey,

I find your argument very weak. Baha'u'llah dared to say that Muhammad wasn't the last prophet and yet he couldn't say that Empedocles was not a contemporary of David only because his audience thought so?
Gleanings from the Writings of Bahá'u'lláh XCVII: "Consider the doubts which they who have joined partners with God have instilled into the hearts of the people of this land. "Is it ever possible," they ask, "for copper to be transmuted into gold?" Say, Yes, by my Lord, it is possible." From this passage it is evident that (a) Baha'u'llah claimed that copper can be transmuted into gold (b) although his audience thought it was impossible. This passage only weakens your assertion.
