... the following cablegram just received from Shoghi Effendi -
"Profoundly deplore stringency (the) financial situation. An appeal to
individuals and Assemblies alike (to) maintain despite world-wide depression,
(their) high standard (of) self-sacrificing efforts (for the) National Fund is
imperative. Abundant blessings shall be vouchsafed its staunch supporters.-
SHOGHI."
