Yo Gerry, I think you misunderstood what I was getting at, so let me just say that I couldn't agree with you more. I think that we have to take responsibility for our thoughts, our emotions and our bodies and that, as you stated, the Prophets of God have always given us the complete guidelines for doing so. If you read the rest of that paragraph again and the rest of my post you will see that I say these things in several places. Danger, danger! (laughs) Look, what I was maily getting at is that we have to have a view of ourselves as wholistic beings, meaning we have to see ourselves as not only the totality of our physical selves, which includes the mind and the heart, but how that self interacts in society and in a cosmic sense. I just wanted people to realize that we're too obsessed with sex as a discussion reduced to the struggle against desires, so I took the optimist route and said, "Hey, why don't we do something diferent here and start with the premise that we are noble creatures first and that anything less is only a lack of actualization of what we already were created to be. Then, we might see how much more chastity has to offer us in the Baha'i sense of the word." Peace.
