Notes | I have three editions of these notes, presumably all copies of an original. Only one edition has the name of the scribe, Maxine Smith. All include excerpts from Ben Levy's notes. Each of the three editions of the Sears notes are virtually identical. The "Maxine Smith" edition is the most complete and indicates that the original notes of both Ben Levy and Marguerite Sears were "taken stenographically by his [Shoghi Effendi's] secretaries", although this may not be accurate as none of the other editions have that preface including Ben Levy's complete notes which actually had a preface indicating he was responsible for his notes. This online version of the Marguerite Sears notes is from the Maxine Smith edition without paragraph or page numbers. -R.S.
This is a "Pilgrim's note," an individual's recollection of statements and actions of the Central figures. They are subjective and not authoritative. See an overview of Pilgrim's Notes. |
