Abstract:
Addressed to a respected jurist of Bushihr, this Tablet - rich in Qur’anic cadence and imagery - affirms the divine origin of the Báb's Revelation, summons the people of the Qur'án to recognize Him, and warns the heedless of their fate.

Abstract: Revealed in Muscat in 1845, this Tablet is addressed to Shaykh Salmán Āl ʿAṣfūr—a respected jurist of Búshihr. It affirms the divine origin of the Báb’s Revelation, summons the people of the Qur’ān to recognize the “Remembrance from the Remnant of God,” and warns the heedless of their fate. Rich in Qur’ānic cadence and imagery, the Tablet stands as a luminous testament to the sovereignty of the Word of God and the dawning of a new Dispensation.
