abstract	Laura Clifford Barney, the translator and compiler, visited 'Abdu'l-Bahá in the Holy Land between 1904 and 1906, putting to him a variety of questions on Christian, philosophical and doctrinal subjects. The answers, which 'Abdu'l-Bahá gave "in my tired moments", make one of the unique volumes of scripture in the corpus of the world's religious literature.
