| abstract | Apologetics in Iran, especially as developed by Gulpáygání, used two closely related proofs: the proof of a religion's divine origin based upon its establishment (only religions revealed by God survive and succeed); and the proof of its truth based upon the revelation of verses. The proof based on establishment is introduced into the Christian context. |
