opening, English |
Praise be to Thee, O my God, for Thou didst ordain that the treasure of life lie within the garden of Paradise, wherein Thou didst gather fire and water |
abstract | Praises God for creating the "treasure of creation" in Paradise and manifesting fire and water together through His power. Marvels at the serpent He made as the guardian of this treasure, endowed with His divine breath. Requests that through this serpent, God unites the hearts of His loved ones and brings them together, just as He brought together fire and water. Reflects on the wonders of God's creation and His mysterious works, including creating this serpent to test the strength of His devoted followers. Recognizes that despite the hardships caused by this serpent, the believers look to God for solace and continue to seek His divine grace. Acknowledges that God has promised heavenly rewards for the righteous and the punishment of hellfire for the disobedient. Expresses bewilderment at the workings of God and submits oneself to His will, seeking refuge in Him alone. |
