"... The country house or summer mansion at Mazra'ih, four miles north of 'Akká, once belonging to 'Abdu'lláh Páshá, which 'Abdu'l-Bahá rented and prepared for Bahá'u'lláh. It took the repeated pleadings of Shaykh 'Alíy-i-Mírí to persuade Bahá'u'lláh, who was still technically a prisoner in the city of 'Akká, to take up residence at Mazra'ih in June 1877. Bahá'u'lláh lived there for two years, after which He moved to the Mansion of Bahjí..."
