Comparaison de l'histoire des premiers siècles du christianisme et de la foi bahà'ie

Jean-Marc Lepain

published in Journal of Bahá'í Studies, 6:2, pp. 27-53

Ottawa, ON: Association for Bahá'í Studies North America, 1994

About: In order to explore the lessons that can be learned from history when these lessons have a relevance to our era and our near future, the author adopts a perspective of philosophy of history, grounded in the Weltanschauung or vision of the world of a civilization. He then studies the following paradigms of Christian history which provide enlightenment on Bahá’í history: the rise and decline of a civilization, the role of the Zeitgeist or spirit of the century, transculturalism, and political institutions.
