Brief bio

Sen McGlinn was born in New Zealand, and studied English literature and Theology there, but for the past 10 years he and his wife, Sonja van Kerkhoff, have been living in the Netherlands. Sen is a student of Islamic Studies at Leiden university, Sonja is an artist and one of the editors of Arts Dialogue. Sen established the Mashriq discussion group, a list devoted to exploring the expression of Baha'i worship in community life.

Current interests and activities include editing the Leiden list of Baha'u'llah's tablets, and preparing a theology of community relationships (church and state, House of Worship & House of Justice, the Guardianship and the House of Justice, the institutional role of academic expertise in society and the Baha'i community, the individual and the collective).
