  1. 1980-09-07 — The execution by firing squad of Mahmoud Hasanzadeh (41), Fereidoun Faridani (58), Ali Motahhari (44), Azizollah Zabihian (56), Jalal Mostaghim (52), Abdol-Vahhab Kazemi [-Manshadi] (85), Nourollah Akhtar-Khavari (61) at a place some 10 km outside of Yazd at a spot called Golestan Yazd. They were executed on a charge of treason. [Archives of the Bahá'í Persecution in Iran]

    Some 19 years later on the anniversary of their martyrdom some 500 souls gathered at Golestan Yazd and circled around the place of martyrdom.
